Awesome work Belle, I had seen some of it when I recently visited your website.

The thunderstorm is AMAZING! I would love to try a version of that, I never thought about painting lightning bolts.

    I submit two more paintings.
The first one is on a 9x14 canvas. it was inspired, by a line drawing on a church bullitin,
the second is another imaginary scene on a 3x5 pine plaque.

I painted this scene with acrylics, on a 3x5 wooden plaque about 3 years ago.

11x14 canvas, about 2 years ago, from a photo I found on the internet.

I started painting about 3 years ago, when my stepdaughters bought me an assortement of Paints, a couple of Brushes and 3-pak of canvases, for a Fathers day present.
I haven't been painting much during the hot months, But I usually start painting once the weather turns bad outside.

I havent painted anything in such a long time. Most of my creative energy is going into my ceramics and I just dont feel like doing anything else.

I have a cross stitch here I was doing for my sisters first wedding anniversary and she's coming close to her second anniversary and Im not coming close to finishing it.

Maybe next year I'll finish things off because I was thinking of not studying for a year even though I want to do Cert 4 Ceramics...*sigh*

Wow, I really liked the old fashioned store front. Buildings etc are so much more difficult than organic forms. It really takes a talent to draw like that.

This is one from my weblog (eeuwigzonde.blogspot.com) I made after that man who the police wrongly thought was a bomber shot five times in the back of the head.
